Kodi – Maybe the Best Doll Ever

ToysBulletin.com looks at a new doll from Paradise Galleries.

Kodi 1This particular doll became especially intriguing to me as I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Alaska and found this little darling to be authentic in every detail. “Kodi,” the ultimate collector’s doll, is a 20” Eskimo boy that is as unique and special as our 49th State is to the USA.

“Kodi” will willingly rub noses with you but you may want to hug him instead to appreciate the quality that makes him so spectacular. From his authentic tribal and native wardrobe to the perfect design and weighted body, “Kodi” has it all. This lovely little Eskimo boy is expertly sculpted and has the feel of a real baby, with his head and limbs made from Paradise Galleries’ patented GentleTouch Vinyl. Of course, he is dressed for the rugged and freezing Alaskan weather, and it is easy to see that each layer of clothing is of excellent quality and superbly crafted.

Cuddle Barn – Plush and Much More

ToysBulletin.com reviews a pair of musical plush toys from Cuddle Barn.

Cuddle Barn 1Want to dance with a new stuffed toy? Well, we found some great products to get you started. “Cuddle Barn” designs stuffed toys with sounds and music that will surely get you a toe tappin’. Today, we will review in detail both “Party Parry,” and “Trooper,” two of our personal favorites.

“Party Parry” is a 10 inch red and yellow parrot who sings and dances to the sound of “Jump in the Line (Shake Senora).” She comes dressed ready to party and hit the salsa dance floor with colorful purple, red, and pink feathers that even sway as she dances. On top of her head, she wears a straw hat filled with a cloth banana, lime and apple. Her beak is cleverly designed to move exactly to the words of the music so she appears to be realistically singing. She is simply a delight to watch, and we are certain that she will please even the smallest child. “Party Parry” is recommended for ages 2 years old and up, but our staff here at Toys Bulletin had her performing every time they passed her by. She retails for $34.99, and can be purchased directly from the Cuddle Barn website. To really appreciate the sounds of “Party Parry,” scroll down from that link, and watch a great video of her performance.

Adora 13″ PlayTime Doll

ToysBulletin.com looks at a new PlayTime doll from Adora.

Adora PlayTime 1We knew instantly that this baby doll would be perfect for a little toddler. At 13 inches and just 12 ounces, the size and weight of the doll makes her even feel like a real baby doll. Our review doll, the “PlayTime Baby Floral Romper,” features Adora’s Gentle Touch™ vinyl with baby powder scent. Her dark hair, brown eyes and button nose give her a very sweet appearance. She is also sporting a colorful high quality floral outfit with a white peter pan collar that complements the soft pink bow on the front, which nicely matches the pink bow in her hair. We also really loved the baby feeding bottle (included) which also added to her charm.

The happy colors are bold and bright, perfect for little ones, and to top it off, these laminated pages can easily be wiped clean. The book and matching puppy would certainly catch the attention of children from birth to age 4. “Doggy Kisses 123” retails for $8.00 and can also be purchased from the North American Bear Co. website. Little Cosmetics – “Real” Pretend Makeup

Little Cosmetics 1ToysBulletin.com looks at the best in pretend makeup from Little Cosmetics.

I still have visions of my little one with bright lipstick smeared all over her precious little face after getting into “mommy’s makeup.” Yuck, right? Well, thanks to “Little Cosmetics,” they have developed a solution to this age old problem. In 2012, Starla Tyler, a mother and schoolteacher, was growing tired of dealing with her daughter’s messy attempts with so-called “children’s” makeup. So she formed the “Little Cosmetics” company after seeing the need first hand for realism in the pretend makeup category. The company’s objective was to create a pretend makeup collection that not only looked like the real deal, but was also completely mess-free. Well, to be honest, I approached this product with lots of skepticism. How could they produce mess-free makeup for kids? Somehow, they did it.
